Like always the initial plan is perfect but jaded by work even though all is better after and I never get peer pressure to ride by announcing it days before as someone says "did you ride this weekend, dude what's up with that"... Sorry folks, my attempt to be a writer for SNUFF BOX. While everyone was riding Saturday, I was joined in the creature comforts of all that is the Compound and English dialog with a fellow Mainer, a salty longshoremen, and a guy everyone thinks is an electrician but is not. So before I get there... I was ready to leave home for Dahlgren for meetings and Friday blah blah work blah blah stuff and left at 2pm rather than 12pm.

Now heading toward Fredburg for cash and supplies but the ATM is out and 4 stops later I have cash and my "just in case" stuff. If you see my SPOT I look like a non GPS driving fool. Now I am moving close to the compound and a Friday or Saturday somewhere else in the world phone call comes in and I am at the church 1.3 miles from blooch's for an hour.

But I finally made it... here was the view from my Chalet on the compound.

Once inside... you need to know the following...secret handshake, yes there is shock treatment, and a "what bike did you bring" question from all... now time to drink and talk bikes.

Then somewhere between these two pictures I enjoyed my self to the point of watching everyone leave for a day in the rain and mudd... I know "WTF Lance!"

Saturday Morning... excellent brake-fast prepared by the usual suspect... It was awesome folks.

    View from the Castle...

    and bikes still leaving...

then a short pause for a quick tow rope rescue of a fellow inmate at the railroad tracks...

No picture to protect the victim

Then some SNUFF BOX... this reveals the inter-most humor of our fearless leader...

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/mkSoVPCXhAQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    I've shown too much :lol3

So then everyone arrives after a more productive day then me... and dinner time.

... picture for anyone who wants a new toy to impress everyone. Beantop won coolest farkle to the BWDR 2013 hands down.

Then the all mighty HMFIC < (I can PM you if you don't know what this stands for) sets up a team building exercise...

HOW TO START A FIRE WITH THREE DAYS OF RAIN.

Now we upgrade to the sprayer... idea courtesy of half plate

then a leaf blower... courtesy of me ( I think :lol3)

    wow... cough cough... smoky :puke1

and now we all enjoy the fire... more bird dog and I'm ready for bed.

Sunday was pack and head home... uneventful but I had the opportunity to meet Garrett's two older kids and get 3 hours of hunting in. If Scotty's posts weren't so loud on ADV... I may have got this guy... he grunted a lot but didn't get close enough for dinner.

:hmmmmm. You didn't grow up riding, did you? lol Because we learned that lesson as kids!

It's a similar analogy with tools. I have a broken chain tool from when someone came over to change a chain and was in a hurry. Didn't know until much later when I went to use it again. Live and learn... :dunno

Since the weather was crappy for riding, I entertained myself by exploring the burg of Elkton . I particularly enjoyed this scene..
