My mule has arrived! quick inspection and the unit looks well built! nice work! I'll be picking up a action packer tub and fuel can during the black friday madness. hopefully have few test rides before the snow flies.

Mine arrived yesterday morning. But, alas I am 400+ miles away. I won't be able to check it out until Mon. Hope to give it an initial shake down next weekend.

Some basic data about the trailers:

The basic trailer is just under 30 pounds.
The ActionPacker tub is just under 10 pounds.
The rear fender is just under 3 pounds.

The boys at ProCycle are putting together a lighting kit for the moto-mule trailer for me. I will add it to the moto-mule website as soon as it's ready. Licensing in each state is a little different, both in the requirements they have and how much they enforce them. These trailers are so small, they often fall under the radar. However, as more riders use trailers, DMV offices will start setting up regulations for them.

I put together a FAQ page that addresses this question and others here: http://www.moto-mule.com/trailerfaq.html

It has a link to DMV trailer requirement and info page.

Any estimate of how long that will be? I was planning on doing lights myself but may wait until they have a kit available.

    Mine comes Wednesday! :freaky

Quick ride tonight & though it's only the frame, it followed my every turn. Feels good. Pix later as the tray maker is having some time with it. Great fit & finish, but we'll see how it holds up to trail dings...thanks MrBracket !

    Mounted. :clap

Still need to get my Actionpacker to finish it off. I must say I'm very impressed. Went together easily, fits like a glove. :evil

My grandpa, who lives next door, saw me outside mounting it and came by to take a look. At 81 years old, never having seen such a contraption, he was perplexed. "Lord, Lord, somebody's always comin' up with somethin'..."

One quick note, i'm sure the rest of you have thought of this, but i'm too dumb. Backing up is...uh....challenging. :huh
I've driven trucks with traliers, but never a motorcycle. Same concept. :deal

It's factory. Had to replace the castle nut/cotter pin with a lock nut to allow the skewer to pass through, but it is hollow.

Just ordered the trailer. Yee Ha got a 3 week trip planned next year for RMAR and Westfest this will be perfect. Just a point of interest, I found prices ranging from 35.99 to 235.49 for the 1172 box. Weird
