Whats scarier is the modified ones.

I've seen chambered and wheel swap versions that STILL win at the track over and over.

Guess i'm digging it out soon.

One of my GT750s was raced at Daytona:deal

I worked for Bryan Kinney at Proline Motorsports and he got me interested in road racing. I bought one of his old GT250s and goofed around with it when it wasn't blown up. I took his old GT750 he had raced and repurposed it for the street. Unfortunately I left the petcock on one day and flooded the cylinders. When pushing it to clear the fuel from the cylinders my thumb slipped off the kill switch and set it on fire toasting the wiring harness. I never did get it back together and eventually my brother in law wound up with it.

Here is a good writeup on Bryan. By the way the "race van" in the article was an old fish delivery van. He said they smelled like fish the whole season from racing out of that van...

If the bike doesn't need a new battery when I get home today I might be up for a ride. I'm sick and tired of being in Michigan...

Dawson Forest was completely closed Monday. Gate at Shoal Creek closed, gate at normal entrance closed. Prolly had to do with the previous snow but man,,,,, by Monday it was basically gone. I think the DNR guy just figured the roads would be soaked and rednecks would tear em up if left to their own devices.:deal:lol3

Gate was open last night. Did the water crossing on the 450 and got SOAKED. It was a bit higher than I anticipated. I'm sure the guys in the 4x4 got a kick out of that.....

Last time I was on Davis Creek it was paved and turned to gravel then was closed for construction. Would like to know how far the pavement goes and hoping that you can get through to River Road.

Should we form a posse and ride the forest roads on Sunday?

    - sent using my iPhone clone, yes, the dreaded EyeFone, the $40 piece of crap sold from the trunk of a '72 Rivera, and don't even ask why the salesman kept looking up and down the street while negotiating a "cash only" deal - and if you need a firearm, wait until he comes back around to the Waffle house ~2 am every Tues night

IF I can manage to change my tires, I was thinking about the same area we rode last time but going on some roads I've never been on before - there are many places I've never been to in that network of roads (near & around Springer Mountain).

I love exploring and the weather is supposed to be nice.
