Very sad news. Robert has been a huge help to me during my project. Renner and I have been meaning to ride our beemers up to JT and hang out with Robert - Robert, if you're reading, we still intend to do that as soon as you're up for it:) My thoughts are with you.
yes. this is sad news. He's been very generous to me with help, insight & information. We talked on the phone a few weeks ago and it was like talking with a good friend, though I've only known him through posts here. fixing bikes is easy, seeing a friend's life threatened by illness isn't hang tough man, there are more sunrises ahead.
Sad news for sure. I was just thinking about him in connection with some idle mental exercises about what things my airhead might need for long term maintenance. And he's helped me out in the past. Best wishes, Robert!

Robert is stable but not able to receive people or phone calls.Tomorrow a good friend of ours will bring her laptop and show him everyone's thoughts and wishes from ADV. So please keep them coming. Thank you everyone for all of your support.
