Can't believe I just found this thread. Subscribed!

Doug, your video reminds me of the line in Wall Street. Some crap Charlie Sheen says about if he was rich, he'd ride a motorcycle across China. You're proving that it doesn't take a lot of money to do this stuff and have a fantastic experience. Good for you!

I prefer it the way Sheryl Crow puts it...... "It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got!" :clap:clap

From the Spot it seems they leave Yakustk and are waiting for a ferry...

I will be at Magadan waiting for them, flying to there thursday, and crossing Russia riding back one of the bikes (Hansjorg in a GS650Dakar) that are traveling the Road of Bones with Doug :D

Bad weather there, raining, it seems the Old Summer Road is with too much water to allow river crossing and the new Urst' Nera Road had two bridges down... But Hansjorg said he will arrive at Magadan at least Sunday :D

Doug still seems to be on the road at maybe 19:00hrs or later his time, heading east from Uolba. Probably still daylight as he's a long way north at 62.6 lattitude. In fact not far south of the Arctic Circle.

I had a report from my partner, Hansjorg, he left the group and took the new road, since he must fly sunday back to Wien. He's now sleeping at Urst' Nera. He said Doug's group has having some minor mechanical problems and are taking their time, no rushes... :D
