Very smooth. You make the GS look like a much lighter bike.

Ah remembers me of my driving licence. I passed it on a 650GS twin. It sure was fun! Especially when I passed it in the middle of december with the heated grips. (imagine the faces of those who passed it on a ER6N or XJ6 :lol3)

    Hi Kelsow,

Just found your terrific video! Good job!

So what are the dates of the next "annual" rally? I get my new F800GS at the start of next season and after my taste of Nova Scotia last week, I'm raring to go! If I can swing the time off, I'd love to take part. Especially since the roads look great, and not all that technically challenging for this off-road newbie.

Great editing job... you've certainly got skills, but what software did you use? I'm a still photo guy but shot a bunch of GoPro stuff along the Cabot Trail last week and I don't really know what software to get to do simple editing. (I'm a PC user.)

Are those stock wheels? What tires do you have on the bike?

    Best regards...

    Eldor

Some nice roads on my vacation in Spain (Calpé).

    Thank you very much :D

I am still a noob, the bike can do so much more / faster / tighter.

especially the 'simple' slow slalom (is that English?) is difficult for me some how.

Got another video here. I had such a good time in Spain. Motorcycle heaven => no traffic, no police, excellent roads (both road and offroad), just good fun!

    Enjoy!

Thanks Eldor. To answer your questions:

Not sure what the dates will be as I was just a participant. It will prolly be the same weekend next year.
Zaner32 took care of most of the details.
It was a great trip and was good to meet some very cool people.

For editing software I use Vegas Video 10. The learning curve is a little steep but I've only scratched the surface
as to what the program offers.
For simple editing Windoze Movie Maker is relatively simple. That's where I started.

Yes, stock wheels with Mitas E07 tires. LOVE these tires.

Kelsow, I had only looked at your video before, but I just looked at the link to your still photos and text... WOW! Your photos are really great!

And to put it politely, you're much uh, braver than I am, taking still photos while riding! :) But you've got amazing results there! Be careful my friend!

Was the rally the first weekend in September?

Thanks for the tip about Vegas Video and Msft Movie Maker.

I don't know those Mitas tires... are they any good at all on pavement?

    Best regards...

    Eldor

    Thanks Eldor.

Yes, the rally was labour day weekend. Hopefully it will happen again next year.

Yes, the tires are great on pavement. Lots of grip in wet and dry.
At least as much as I pushed them that is.

Haha, I just knew I couldn't hold the bike in that tight turn. I'm still recovering from 5 fractures in my foot. Oh well, lesson learned I guess.
And damn, It was so hot today, I picked the bike up and I was already sweating like a racehorse. It was around 30°C today.
I really need to bring my KTM enduro to Spain someday ... :-).

    Greetz,
    Kenny.
