Got my first real test on the new rear shock and came totally blown away, compression and rebound damping are adjustable as is pre-load. First quarter mile thru some bumpy pothole invested trail felt like I was on a couch, smooth and comfy, pushed the bike hard up some rocky climbs and it just went right where I wanted and soaked everything up very nicely. I'm currently running xChallenge cartridges with Ohlin's 55g springs up front so the front damping is also dialed but but after riding the new shock I may bite the bullet and do the full upgrade to the Ohlin's cartridges too Nice and tucked in! They reversed the preload adjuster and increased the range to a full 10mm which should be good for a loaded bike including the Mrs.'s You do need an 8mm ratcheting open end wrench to do it though plus have to remove the seat!

As much as I want a Ohlins shock, I just cant buy one at this time. Can you change the seal in a KYB shock for my Yamaha WR and get me a stiffer spring?
