    For my Valentine!
    https://peterman.smugmug.com/Food/pork-roll-ups/2225752_8CGX22#!i=115964828&k=F63Kbq8

Making a small (only 6) batch of little roll-ups for a personal private date with me!:D,,,steamed basil broccoli , garlic french bread, yukon gold taters, bottle of Zin,,I do this because I really do care,,though, sometimes I can't tell if I love me,I don't seem to ever get any positive response returned,,,so I try,, I'm worth the effort once a year. Just for communication's sake,if nuthing else, gotta try,,right?
This year might be different, tho, I won't hold my breath hoping for any real marked improvements over past years and years of emotional maelstroms,,,we'll see!

I shirley hope I appreciate it, and show some form of gratitude this year,,I try so hard to please! Some people are just never happy.:cry
    Last year's offering went nearly unnoticed,,and I thought,,"what an asshole!",,"Not a wonder you're alone most of the time, YF'njerk!".
    So,, with all the effort,,
I'd better not piss me off tonite and slander my pork rollups ya prick, or I'll be selecting my stoutest "jawbone of an ass" to deal with me by hand!

    Happy Valentimes,,!:freaky

Wifey is happy on the sofa with some homemade hot cocoa with a little snort of fireball cinammon (not going to backspace to spell that word, fuck it) and I'm here & on JM & reddit with beers. It's a great Friday :freaky

Steak wasn't too bad, crab was pretty OK. Hard to fuck up tenderloin & king crab unless you let the steak get past 130° or so...

    Bummer P Helix!

Dinner at Quackers tonight was the Best Meal outside of Home we have had in a long time. Steamer Clams for an appetizer. Shelley had the Pepper steak with Mashed spuds, Asparagus and Garlic bread. 10 ounces of prime Beef encrusted with pepper corns and smothered in a demiglaze. I had the Grilled Salmon smothered in shrimp hollendaise sauce, rice and Asparagus. Dinner came with Cherry Cup Cakes for desert. It was beyond good. All you other FF's are in the Dawg House with Amy and Rachel for not showing up.

I fucked up the "warm citrus salad dressing" tonight........

.........I mean.........who'd of thunk that extra bacon in the mix would've made everything too salty?

..........moral of the story is that I proved that you can actually wreck something by adding pork. :huh

    Scallops rocked though....:norton

I like potatoes of all kinds, and prepared about any way possible.
One of my favorites snacks is a medium spud, lightly oil the skin, and microwave for about 4 minutes,,Mmmm, quick baked tater, and most any spud will do!
But,, if I have the time for the prep,, I really like spuds cubed up into squarish chunks and fried in a cast iron skillet,,(little olive oil & a little bacon grease) until they are golden crispy brown! All fine and good, and most potato varieties will work fine for this too.:deal
Yukon gold taters taste better than new reds,,which are better than kennebec, which surpass russets, and so on.

I think the ultimate champion of unmatched flavor in a fried up tater has GOT to be the Yellow Finn. They must have been crossed with a milk churn because they have butter built right in! Butter!,,or maybe better!,,,maybebetterthanbutter!
If you like Yukon Golds,,you'll love Yellow Finns.
Look for them in farmer's markets and organic shops,,get a few,, and fry them up side by side with any other spud of your choosing,,and report back with your own ratings.:clap
Of course,, if you do not like fried up potatoes of wonderful flavor, then you obviously have no taste anyhow, and you have wasted your dumbassed time reading this,

    So!,very merrily fuck you!:fyyff

    Write this down:

How to cook store-bought King Crab that's already cooked.

Large roasting pan with grill on the bottom and lid needed.
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees
One cup of water and a little white wine in the pan
Cook (reheat) crab in pan with lid on for 20-30 minutes while drinking beer.
    Eat with Yukon Gold potatoes.
