Yesterday I would have said you were good if you had decent tires.
It's been dry for a couple weeks.

Started raining this early this morning, and looks like it's staying for the day.
So, I'd take a hard look at the creek crossing. I was there this summer when it was wet and the creek was about 5 feet deep at the far end. :eek1

    Good plan.

It wouldn't have been bad Friday or Saturday, not nice today.

I'll recon if I get a chance tomorrow :deal

No worries, if you are available Monday just shoot me a text.

Anyone else in the area (who gets Columbus Day off) want to ride on Monday?

    Will do :thumb

Might go check out some roads that I usually ride by on the way to somewhere else.
Not knowing where they go bothers me, there could be something cool there. :lol3

That may be doable if I get some tires before then. I will have to haul the bike up Sunday and will need a place to camp.

Just an FYI anything NF related that can be locked or gated is shut down. Camps, restrooms, overlooks, picnic areas, info centers, etc...

    Completely retarded and ridiculous.

Yes TD, park rangers and National Forest law enforcement are working but at reduced numbers.

I hope this shutdown is over before deer (gun) season. I hunt an NF area about six miles behind a gate that is not unlocked until a day or two before the season opens.

Bikes put away, probably for the winter :cry

Leaving for the U.P. in the morning, 6 days a week, probably night shift.

Most likely not back until Thanksgiving. Sucks because I love fall here.
Got a little riding in, running some errands. Weather has been perfect for riding, if I would have been off another month I would have needed a new back tire, again. :D

Front tire on the LC4 is wearing funny now, the rear of the knobs is wearing off at about twice the rate of the front.
Really started showing a lot the last week or so. :dunno

Job started in August, I asked to go then.
The company has had their cheap help up there and now the job is a mess and we have to bail them out.

    It's probably snowing already. :bluduh

Planned a weekend excursion on the Road King to do a little leaf peeping with momma. Weather turned to shit when we pulled into Maryland along 50. Spent the night with some friends in NOVA and watched it rain while trying to put a dent in their beer stock (we did:freaky ).

Up for Brunch, weather got worse, decided to come home of 81/70/68. Coldest damn rain I have ever been in once at Hancock and then again at Frostburg. Rain suit had epic failure, so I am cold, wet, pissed off and my weekend get away has become a f''n misadventure!:baldy

Got to hand it to momma, she never bitched once.:babe

Once we got to Keyser's Ridge, the rain quit, the temperatures warmed with our descent into Morgantown and the sun came out on 79.:rayof

    Screw Karen!
