short answer......... long story

Damn it rode thru there today and was trying to figure out where all the bikes came from. In fact I think I hit 75,000 on the Bandit just past there and stopped to take a few picks. Stuck in a Hotel in Bishop, gave up on making it to friends place in Sacramento (something about snow and ice ahead). Might just have to turn around and head back there tomorrow.

Another great trip under my belt. Really good folks, as always. Lots of experienced FF's to ride with and learn from.

Weather was a bit overcast and cool but not too bad. Got down to 35 at the pass and some guys rode up into a blizzard at Hunter.

Dunerat and his old lady had a great spread of food for us all. We were serenaded nearly all night long by Val. Yeah. Thanks.

Got a bit of a late start. You know how it is; herding cats and all. Ten f'ing o'clock!

Made our way out to Saline Valley. We went through the canyon leading down and experienced our first water crossing, which you'll see in video form shortly. Oh here it is now

Ers found Tex's license plate right about here. BT dubs, there was a hell of a lot of sand in that place. Not so much big bike friendly.

Got home about 1:30. Had a great time! A big thanks to Dunerat and Val for wonderful food! The weather was cool and overcast, but nice. Now to get ready to return for the Noob Rally.
