I searched and didn't find a thread featuring photos exclusively of Western Canada. Those of us fortunate enough to ride this piece of motorcycle heaven, post up photos of your favourite places, with or without your bike. My other great loves after my wife and adventure riding are sailing and hiking, so I have spent a lot of time up and down Vancouver Island in my boat and did the West Coast Trail a couple of years ago. I never tire of that part of the world.

Your photos convince me I need to spend a week or so on the island with my MC this year.

Some great photos brings back memories of rides in the past and rides I need to do, we are truly blessed to live in this part of the planet.... I can't wait to get back on the bike

Can someone please explain how to attach pics? 'usually' i am not dumb about this, but on this board i dont see the method....

Your best bet is to join a photo hosting site like Smugmug or Photobucket and upload your pics to that site... Then it becomes easy as you click and copy the image code off your image of choice from that site and then paste it into your post on here...After a bit of practice you get quicker at it and can easily drop many images into 1 post in the blink of an eye...
I mostly use Photobucket which allows a certain amount of bandwidth for free but it seems to me that the images loose a bit of sharpness in the transition... No matter though, good enough for photo sharing...

As Gunnerbuck said, the only way now to attach photos is via a Smugmug or Photobucket type account. Here is the link explaining the process in detail. Note: Option 1 is no longer available. Scroll down and read Option 2.

Once you have uploaded photos to a service like Photobucket the process is quick and easy.

Some of mine from the past season, Northern BC and the Yukon;

Carcross Dunes the KLR was just getting picked up.




I was surprised what a wasted K60 would do in the sand tapped in third.

Salmon Glacier on a miserable day, third time I tried to get there was the charm, have been turned away in the past by snow and washouts.
