I have to admit I'm not particularly fond of those pictures with the bike on the monument. I mean, sure it's not mine and I'm not even from that country, but if everyone does that imagine how that place looks in 50 years...

Those plains look so amazing, I'd so much love to go there one day.
What would be the closest place like that to visit from Vancouver (BC)? (Canada or US, whatever is closer).

Those war memorials are really interesting. It's hard to believe that whole wild west thing was just 150 Years ago.
I just hope they also have those memorials for the Indians that were killed by the whites...
