its a shame you had to replace a tire with so much tread left.

I ordered the klx kit from eagle mike, I haven't seen the needle yet so was curious how many notches it has? 2nd notch from which end?

eagle mike's kit comes with the clip already installed on the "2nd" notch. i believe it's 2nd from the end though. (the end that's away from the needle's point)

i've done the .22 mod to my bike and it runs great with a modified factory exhaust and no toil filter. If i do the klx kit from eagle mikes and remove the snorkel will it be a problem that my slide is already drilled, or do you drill it when you do the klx needle also?

Drilling the slide is just a personal preference. No performance difference, just quicker throttle response. Works just fine with the KLX kit.

It would help if you used a tire tube instead of stuffing the tire with marshmallows.

I think it is a great idea. Tasty snacks while changing a flat.

Yup. I'm Bummed. But I'd rather damage stuff because I'm using it than have it be perfect and sitting in my driveway. :freaky

Hopefully the replacement lasts longer. :1drink

Turned out to be a hard sharp bit of plastic that was deep in the tire.

Oh well. New tire installed. I'd rather spend $100 now than thousands later including some hospital bills...:evil

Nice looking ride man! The black & white works great. That top box is unique. You get thirsty much?

Center-stand + 5 galons of water = easy front tire changing. :evil

Just got my leo-vince x3 to replace the lexx that fell apart . A few questions for anyone who has them . mine came with a bunch of end pieces and a spark arrestor , are you using the internals that it came with or did you swap them and if you did whats the good/bad of it ?

Different inserts are for adjusting noise levels. Comes with quietest installed. Be aware that if you do pull the end cap off one if not two of the Allen's will mess up. Easy to fix and US importer is well aware and unfortunately LV in Italy has no intentions of fixing. I suspect they have a warehouse full of these pipes.... its a nice pipe and great that you don't have to repack it.

I bought it so i never have to repack ..
i took the allen bolts out and removed the end cap ( they were ok ) i tried to remove the inside part but it was very tight and didnt want to yank on in to hard . i guess you need to give it a good pull to get it out . which core are you running ?

Make sure ya put some Anti seize on em when ya put em back in, nooo more stripped threads then. I'm running the spark arrester over the long insert with some oversized holes drilled in it, for 40,000mi or sooo. :freaky

Big fan of the Thermobob and my Oxford heated grips.

Not a fan of the Ricochet skid plate. Plate is ok, but hardware and method of mounting to frame is kind of cheap.

I'd go JNS for my plate if I had to do it again.

i think your right that the jns is a great plate, but for the money i think the happy trails is a good deal.
