I'm throwing down the gauntlet. Set down your warm drinks, good books and move away from your warm fires.

Put on your long undies and go get cold on your motorcycles!
After it started snowing and freezing again today, the lesser traveled roads were quite treacherous! The crunched up freezing slush on the surface of the dirt in low spots was eye-widening to say then least. I almost wiped out numerous times.

So for your safety and convenience I've posted a nice easy dirt tag, just off pave, in a CENTRAL location

    Presenting....BIRD HOUSE CITY

Yer right about the treacherous part. I've been riding to work on occasion this winter, and I take the back roads home. The only way I can tell if I'm on mud vs. mud-covered ice pack is the almost uncontrollable wheel spin experienced on the ice pack.

This tag is pretty easy to get to: not far off the pavement at all! See picture. You have found it when you head south out of the east side of Ann Arbor on a road that crosses over I-94 but has no access ramps. Happy hunting.

Indoor motorcycle storage and work area with a hardwood floor! Awesome. The little TW looks like it is ready to go - I love mine and can't wait to get it on the trails.

Thank goodness for tw's!! One saved my finicky vintage husky by carrying 12 pounds of tools and parts!
The fancy gear gets the summit, but only because of the Sherpas and pack mules carrying the infrastructure to base camp.
Tw is the Sherpa of the trails!! Big ups to DA tee double u's mon.

I got out last Sunday to knock off the tag:

I then cruised around a bit and found this Jewell of a cemetery:

I later checked and found that DesertScorpion posted at the same site, but it never got tagged after that.

I debated all week as to whether I could bear the shame of another recycled tag. No one else posted and I didn't want that beautiful riding day to go to waste.

So - one of you can head out soon to pay your respects to Barney.

I didn't have too much trouble finding this tag. :D

Now for a nice fresh tag. I took this picture of this Be(e)g 'ole barn as I was heading back to Platt Road after shooting the pet cemetery. Now I guess I'll go home and clean my boots.

We attended our Saturday night Easter service - so I had the morning free. The rain was a bit annoying - but I got the tag:

I headed north to the border - I hope this lake house shot isn`t too far off Base

It should be nice out later - let`s get somebody out to knock this one off.

    Hmmmmm.....
Maybe due magnetic north to Tobin lake on the edge of the county?
    Perhaps buckland drive?

    How about a hint?

    Calling all Livingston county taggers!

The northern border of Washtenaw County is 8-Mile Road, called Baseline in many areaa. It aligns with a famous baseline that establishes the layout of Michigan county and state borders. Several lakes straddle this baseline. This house is on the shore of the most obviously-named of the baseline lakes. It is west of US-23.

Need any more hints? (Watch out for Leaches!)

Next up we pulling from the "barn" theme we have the following:

Clues will most likely be needed for this relatively obscure North/South - East/West road in the northern part of the county that can be found of off Walsh road.... is that a clue????:evil

At the risk of stating the obvious: Mr. Toad has one wild ride - that is a cool-ass bike.

She was down for fairly extensive maintenance/updgrades that took me a bit longer than I had hoped... but she is indeed back and eager to chase down tags.

OK - I put on all the heated gear and enjoyed the sun today and knocked off the Merkel/Zeeb Road barn.
Then, I headed northwest to see if I could snag a tag at the far corner - but I believe I overstepped the northern boundary by a bit:

The barn has a big "USA" on the roof - the road is named like the head guy at a prison
