What did he do, Shiver internals? Do we know if those will even fit with the new 43mm forks?

I have been using the Shiver's, but have since swapped to WP for the last 2 sets with much better performance...

Nice one Alex, always good to have another option.

Didn't know you were offering this service, post it up in Vendors and I'm sure you'll get some interest. The DIY requirements are what probably kept most people from chosing this option vs. the more expensive Ohlins/Traxxion/Racetech kits.

Will do Lukas! I also offer a 320mm travel package for the KTM Adventure's, I am finalizing the R&D of that service shortly.

I have paid customs their ransom.

Bastards better send me my stuff now.

Ridiculous. Tariffs are to protect local industries. we don't don't make motorcycles, and no one here does the parts I want. so why am I paying tariffs on it?

I just hate paying the government anything. It's not like they spend it wisely.

So I have the calipers I'm going to use. 6 piston jobs.

    That should stop it.

    Isn't that what you said?

I didn't look. They're still somewhere in the back of the ute.

    I've been busy.

How'd the parts go? Got the DRZ sorted?

    Hi
I went to a motorcycle show today in San Mateo and there was a booth by Oehlins. The guy at the booth said that oehlins will be releasing a new fork kit at a lower price. If I understood the guy right the price for the new will be around $1200.

    Thanks

Too little too late for me.

I have emailed Ohlins and asked them and got no answer.

I emailed WP and after 5 forwarded emails and a lot of fucking around got no answer after I told them price was no problem.

It's as if they aren't interested in selling their products.

Well, I'm not interested in buying them now.

I got an email back from the Ohlins distributor/installer I bought my shock from. There IS an FGK 30mm kit coming for the 800GS, slated to be in the $1250 range. I guess it's built on the line in Sweden, hence the price drop vs. the previous kit for the 800 which was built in the US in small batches.

He already hinted at a group buy - - I will post up when I get the rest of the details on the kit specifics.

That's my favorite band. I just saw them play in Seattle on thr 13th.

    Anyways back to suspension :D

Hopefully they come up with something for the rear shock on the models with ESA. I don't want to get left out lol.
