So first you get sick as a dog and now you've broken your shoulder!
Like my doctor asked me "Why do you rider motorcycles?"
Me "eeeh.....uuh....well, all that pain makes me feel alive":lol3

Heal up, stay out of golf courses (they have a shitload of lawnmowers) and get on a stationary bike to keep your conditioning somewhat acceptable.:thumb

AJ, thanks for the great posts/videos (as always)!! :clap

Watching you race/crash/break/heal/race/crash/break ad infinitum reminds me of why I quit lo those many years ago......:lol3

Nah, seriously, fun stuff for us couch potato types.

    Heal quick.

Only caught up with all this now. Sorry about your crash brother. I think I broke a funny bone in my shoulder last year in October, because its still sore.

Glad to hear you will still be riding, and did not bend to family pressure.

What gear were you missing on this race? Get a carbon fibre Leatt brace, they're excellent and have saved me a few times.

In a lot of pain too these last few days - I must be healing.

Im going to try and do an update video this weekend!

Got my Leatt last year - got some Pod knee braces this year. Talk about looking like a transformer.

Foot's getting better - another week or two and I'll hop back on the mountain bike. We'll see how that goes before getting back on the motorized bike.

I hope you heal up soon - maybe I'll see you out there later this year.

hope you heal up soon too!

Im still in quite a lot of pain even doing simple things like....reaching for stuff. Its going to be a few more weeks yet before riding again.

I wanna cut some stupid video but since I have to use my arm for work anyways, its tough to go home and cut too.... so hopefully this weekend

I still have a video to put up from.....jeez it seems like years ago but now it seems so irrelevant.

    :dunno

I probably should put one up about the crash and subsequent events, because without that my "triumphant return" wouldn't be so triumphant.

    :lol3

I'm planning on doing an Enduro in October with some other Coyotes... much faster coyotes.

I would say that I've made a 90% recovery. I still have fluid and numb spots on my leg but no more pain. I have done a short Triathlon since the crash and I'm planning more.
I also did a Supermoto class a few weeks ago (which is the first time ive gone fast on a bike since the crash) and im doing it again next weekend. If you're in California you guys gotta check this thing out - $200 for a DRZ and all the tracktime you can handle! Awesome deal.

anyways today I ran for an hour and ride the bike for two hours....so im getting back into some decent shape. What does that mean for desert racing? Absolutely Nothing!

    :D

they give you any coaching, or they just give you bike and turn you loose?
