So, now that it's superfuckingcold in the Northeast :vardy I'm running my heated jacket liner and gloves. UNFORTUNATELY, that puts me just very SLIGHTLY over the 10A budget (prolly 10.5A).

Here's my question: Has anyone tried putting a 15A fuse into the accessory circuit on a 2007 950 SMR (or SE)?

    Thanks!

On the 950 adv, they had 5amp fuses, upgraded to 10amp on the 990. I wouldn't want to take the risk of frying the wires before the fuse goes. In the shop manual there are numbers in the wiring diagrams, (i.e. yellow-red 0.5) unfortunately it doesn't say what 0.5 is. My guess: 0.5 mm². If so, it's rated for 11amps. I would run a 1mm² cable straight from the battery, with it's own fuse (and switch), powerconnector where you want it, can also be used for batterytender, ...

    my 2 cents ...
