oh fair enough.. When I took mine into the dealership on the weekend they were very impressed with the sound and design, They do certainly have a very nice note in comparison to a standard akro.. Ive only ever heard the akro baffle out on a vid and it sounds not bad either, but not as deep as the wings.

I made a little video of my wings installation for those wondering if they should get the dealer to do it. 3.8kg saving.

I'm in doubt... Remus? Wings? Or better Remus? I've always liked the Wings, but they are not road legal in some European countries, the Remus is. But the Wings look better. How about sound? Anyone knows? Hard to compare from different youtube clips.

For those interested, here are some other options:

Would the bike have to be re-mapped if you fitted the compleat arrow system without the cat?

Awesome! I can not believe that it saved 8.36lbs! Is that the lightest option out there? I wonder what else you can do to cut weight.

Great question. Someone with more knowledge and experience than me can answer that question.

There is an Arrow header pipe without the Cat Convertor that looses about 2 lbs.

How will the re-map be done, tune-ecu? I Got the remus silencer when I first got the bike and have ordered the arrow pipes. When there are maps I'm guessing there be for the whole arrow system. It shouldn't make too much difference having the remus silencer instead of the arrow with that map, should it?

It doesn't need to be remapped but when I had it in for a service I asked them to put the akro map on and it has a little more mid range..

It's done with a simple ecu flash, if you want a custom tune then you need to buy an interface and get someone to do it.. Which is about $1200 + tuning, for 8hp as opposed to 4/5hp from the akro map n exhaust.
