Bay Area weekday dirt rides

I'd be in on this but alas only off on Fridays. Maybe for future?

Thanks for your info. Some Fridays can work for me. Even this Friday actually, but not Thursday also.

Anyone wanna ride Carnegie Thursday OR Friday this week?

I prefer to arrive 9:30AM or so. Ride my ~20-mile training loop before & after lunch. Leave 2-3pm. I (or we) sometimes DS from Concord via Marsh Creek, Morgan Territory, Tesla, & Corral Hollow. Same times.

So, I will DS from Concord to Carnegie on Friday. Same time & place.

Wednesday (10/9) Ride at Carnegie. May DS from Concord at 8:30am. Meet just west of Moto Mart at Carnegie at 10AM, riding by 10:30. Intermediate riders on blue & black-diamond trails.

I'm trying to get the word out there about our event. It's our clubs 10th Anniversary, but more importantly it will be benefiting the Haylie "Strong" Fund. She's 8yrs old, fighting bone cancer and the daughter of friends that a few of us went to High School with!

Since I didn't write the start miles down, I'm going to guess ~2300 miles of singletrack & some DS rides.

Georgetown-Mace Mill Staging Area Thursday 10/17, 9:30-10AM

Pack lunch for the trail. Ride 4-6 hours. Maybe stop for dinner on the way home?

3 of us had a GREAT day in the woods!



Stinez took a few photos. Ms.Beta lead us down & up trail 3, 1, 2, 1 across lower Rock Creek & up east side, 1-2, 6, 1, & 9 west across Rock Creek to Mace Mill. 46 miles. FUN old trails with lotsa rock ledges & roots to keep us olde guys on our toes.

2 - 3 of us are heading to Stonyford (Little Stony CG/staging area on Goat Mtn Rd.) tomorrow at 9:30-10AM. Pack lunch & snacks for all day on the trails. Blue & black-diamond trails.

Well, some are lucky enough to be enjoying their retirment. . I'm heading out to Carnigie to finish that loop we started now the leg is back in shape. Should be good weather and riding all regions. Enjoy!

Yeah, retirement does NOT suck. We may head for Goat Rock tomorrow. Ms.Beta has not been up there yet.

Stonyford last week was a blast! 68 miles of FUN! And some dust & powder. Wherever the logging crews used singletrack to access trees, its been groomed to tractor-wide powder. The place really needs some rain.


Ed & Chris enjoy a cool splash at the spring-fed tank.


The only memorial up there so far ...


Some burnt stuff in the fire zone, but most of the singletrack is still sweet!

So, about this Thursday, Halloween ... Anyone want to join me for a couple of practice loops at Carnegie? Say 10AM? That's all I have time for this week.
