Haha, I guess it's the perspective... The top box is 46 liters. It's the one I use every day. The panniers are 35 liters each, and I got them today for future trips. Samsung GT-I9100 + Tapatalk 2
I was shocked how much "shiney" there was under all the dirt & chain lube spatter. I'm pleased with the condition of my sprocket. I don't ride very hard though.
Took this a couple years ago on Cumberland Pass, Co., late October. There's a Fla. tag still laying around up there someplace.
everyone says the white KLR is straight out of Battle of Hoth Star Wars, so I went with it: I know I lost the fairing on the 5 on the way to Mt. Wilson... FYI I painted Stormy with white Plastidip. This is what she looked like when i bought her:
Ok, I know that topbox. Can you tell us more about how you like it, is it heavy, was the inside a mess, and how do you like the fit?
It's pretty light, actually. The box is aluminum. I like it, it's quite stout and seals well, it will hiss when you open it up after elevation changes. Inside was very clean, the foam that it comes with it cut into shape and laid in place, it's held in by the shape of the box. Pull it out and you've got a perfectly clean setup. Here is another shot that shows it opened up: and here you see the top lying on the ground. There are six latches, no hinges.
