Close call, nice to catch that before major damage. Were you able to reuse the gasket or have a new at the ready.

I reused the gasket, even though I had a new spare. I cut the clamp that holds on the breather hose, and used a low budget clamp to replace it. :lol3

Hey where did you get Rotopax mount? Or did you make it. Some pics without the top box would be great.

Found a nice abandoned stretch on the way home from work and rolled through 1st, 2nd and up to redline in third on the back wheel on the big KTM. This bike is a bad influence. Even commuting can be fun! A little over a year of ownership and still having a friggin' blast!

Think I'm gonna have to part out my exc wheels. Looks like I am not going to be able to do the riding I was hoping too but good news is I'm looking forward. To thumping around town!

I dropped my 990 adventure the other day while trying to ride out a rut .. Never again.. And i scratched the rear panel. I was thinking of adding some white 3M to the rear panels to resemble a 990R... Thoughts?

Any sign shop can make you a custom decal for that area. This might give you some ideas: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?p=20317168

What I did to my KTM today?

Today I took the clutch slave cylinder off my 2008 KTM SE. I then took it apart, cleaned the O-ring, and the seal. I then reassembled it, and flushed the clutch system. I then introduced new Madura Blood in to the system. It feels like it has good pressure, and I don't see it bleeding any more.

The seal was definitely dirty, and the fluid was horrible. So, hopefully that will resolve the problem. Otherwise, off to the stealership for a new slave cylinder.

Sorry Andy, but when they go, they go. This will only be a temporary fix... If you're going to keep trying this, use mineral oil. At least it is cheaper than Magura blood!
