You can head back to Danville any time you want. We will be in that 20 mile circle for a few hours. There will be some pavement but not much.

getting ready to head out of here...thought I'd roll down to Red Rocks Nature Preserve and check it out...then snag a couple covered bridges on the way back...if any of our southern contingent would like to ride along or join me for lunch, my cell phone is 740-tree oh for-one 5 niner-niner. Text or leave a voice mail.

Only took a handful of photos today. Nice ride, met Eric and Steve for the first time, there were 9 of us total.

I managed to cut myself out of the group shot cause I got mad photo skilz.

I do have everyone individually going through the creek, except for Gorman, I only opted to post Steve but if anyone wants their individual shot shoot me a PM.

It was nice to catch up with some old friends and meet some new ones today. Thanks to Alan, Mark , and Mike for showing us around and helping out where needed.

Mark, Alan and I finished up the day at Wills Creek which I found to be a bit of a challenge. Wrestling the pig around all the mud wore me out, but it was fun and a challenge conquered is good for building skills.

I was wishing for a 250 at times today, but the tractor did pretty well.

meanwhile, I got out on Sabrina and did about 250 miles...snagged 3 covered bridges and rode all through the Shawnee State Forest...good place for a dual sport ride, much gravel/dirt roads....only found one very short (maybe 100-150 feet) slick spot but it was a straight so I was able to roll gently over it with no issues (unlike last week when Pete and I went to Leo Petroglyph Park.)

found a burned down house and the shack/garage next to is that survived the fire:

and speaking of shacks, I found a good BBQ shack in West Union:

and managed to snag a great file photo for tag. all in all, not a bad way to spend the day.

Can someone put screen names to the faces? I know Gorman and Alan and of course Meef. Actually some of those old fat white guys look familiar too. :D

Looks like its muddier up that way than it is down here. I only did about 175 miles, just scouting around. Found a few cool trails. Considered riding north, but it was 29F when I would have had to leave.
I think I found out why folks like steering stabilizers. I was wide open for several miles on some old AEP haul roads today, 70-75mph, soft spots and potholes give the arms quite a workout on dirt roads at those speeds. :lol3
