#1 Not much either way, unless you get more (or less) enthusiastic with your right hand.
    #2 No
#3 The instructions can be found in the 1st post of this thread.
#4 No. And you can remove the IICE air as easily as it is installed if you see the need. Or set it to the 0 setting (see the instructions in the 1st post).
#5 The IICE Air vendors thread has a link for ordering. The IICE Cool is not available.

    Thanks johnjen,
Do you know when the IICE-Cool will be available again or was it ever?

<BR>TommyHolly and smithdt, here are a couple of recent posts addressing performance and MPG with the IICE Air:

Others have reported similar results. But it's also like JJ says, a bike's MPG is primarily based on how enthusiastic you get with the throttle. It varies within a range. Very much like the answers you get when you ask how many miles people get from a set of tires.

Some people ride in a higher gear with the IICE Air fitted, and that can improve mileage.

Jim/Poolside, is there any possible way for me to purchase an IICE Air via personal check, cashier's check, or calling you directly with my credit card number?
As I mentioned a few posts above, Paypal simply will not accept my CC, for no known reason.
You can PM me here or contact me at botchbuy@comcast.net . Thanks!

It isn't available yet, Tommy. I'm looking at taking a break from my regular schedule and devote a couple of months to the IICE lineup.

Maybe I got the numbers backwards. :scratch I'll have to check when I get home. I do know that moving the selector made a difference in the way the bike runs.

Are we going to have to drink Shiner until only one of us is standing to figure out who is first to get a "Cool" unit.

Got it yesterday, installed it yesterday.

My initial impression is that it's a subtle, amazing little gadget. I've only been able to go on a couple quick rides so far (I'll make up for it this weekend) but I definitely notice a different feeling in the bike. Off the line it feels like a totally different bike! I might have my fiancée change the setting (without me watching) to see if its just a placebo affect but right now it feels like the best addition I've put on my gs.

    Thanks!

    Ordered 5-10-13 D.J.,ID
Hopefully we get it before Xmas!
I counted to 30, so it should be sooner.
As long as A.K.,CA didn't order 30 just to get one.
The anticipation keeps bringing me back here.

I've had mine through some hot Australian days, and now in the cold (-6C)... (not so cold for some of you folk) and that GS1100 has become a total beast.
Worth the wait. Smoothed out many hesitation issues down low, and delivers throttle response immediately. Thanks Poolside, CM.:clap
