Terry, we saw the monument they put up for you when we were out yesterday. There was also a charity box at the Cleater Bar for future broken Honda parts.

Durtklod and AZTom took me down that Turkey Creek route this past Spring. Tom and I rode Yamaha WR250R's, while the Klod rode his big KLR. I'm glad I did it, but about the 4th time crossing that creek I was not a happy pilgrim. :puke1

I learned a modern motorcycle is a lot more capable than I was. It was a good lesson and have used that experience more than a few times since. Seems like we have plenty of rock gardens in New England too. Still, I doubt I'll be riding Turkey Creek again any time soon. :lol3

It was truly a pleasure to ride with this group of guys. I appreciate them showing this AZ newby some of the local trails, especially knowing I was showing up on a KLR. I didn't take as many photos, but I thought I would post the few I took.

Sorry for the gratuitous bike shot...but she worked hard yesterday!

A little damage that happened on the ride out on the road...always happens that way. I also ripped off a mirror, but I needed new ones anyway.

Actuallly, the "package" I'm running, Cut7 engineered and developed. Most fun adult bike I've ever owned.

I got had on the same powdery sandy spot as refocus did! He was kind enough to show me the route this past Saturday, and I had to have like four tries on that hill before I made it. He made it on the first go round! Bastard!

Very fun route. Thanks to brad for showing it to me.
