I was going to make a snarky comment too but then I noticed the poster is in Sweden. The comment was still pretty funny, as are the responses but not as funny as my attempt at Swedish would be to the Swedes. :D

Undoubtedly it will be a better bike, but why does each model have to get uglyer than the last

No worries, I'm just saying that I wish we're not dissapointed by the actual bikes when they're realeased. Triumph has two winners here if they don't eff them up and I really want them succeed. So I hope that the bikes are as good as we hope they are.... or at least as good as I hope they are... :D

I've always dug the rt, especially the newer one - but not a fan of BMW in general. Is sort of copy cat again......

This has potential. the leak approach only works if you follow along. i did for the tiger but wont for this one. I'll wait for info to show up here or in the rags but i will never sign up for any email crap from them again. I also dont rush out and have to have a new bike right away and pay full msrp (so far...... ).

Lets see new 800 dual sport adventure touring, Sprint gets little more touring oriented with the GT (took one for test ride its a winner), and now the Trophy comes back with a shaft drive 1200cc triple that's definitely leaning to the touring side. I think I see a pattern here. Ok I like it when's it gonna hit our shores.

Shaft drive that doesn't break? Maybe for less money than the legendary eye watering BMW pricing structure?

Just my opinion, but it looks like a BMW, FJR, ST1300, Concours, Guzzi Norge, Futura, PC800 clone....

Seriously, I think it looks very good, it'll be interesting to see what paint and trim options it comes in, and based on the rider shots, it looks to me like it will immediately need risers with a little pull back added.

Currently. Your average 'wat is this new fangled internet' ADV rider likes to post every thing that is new to him on a daily basis, in a new thread, I've noticed.

I think the flat black stuff is temp cladding. Looking closely at the bike I see high gloss bodywork sticking out front and rear of the cladding, maybe there is some nice looking panels underneath.

I get the Japanese copying everything but I'm disappointed the British aren't more original.
