I just got caught up on your thread. I wanted to say I really enjoyed your thread, eatpasta, and all of your video reports, those are really great. And the last installment is no exception. Really well done. I think you set the new standard for race reports with those video narrations with a few select photos. That's a great way to tell your story and describe the races and what all happened. Very cool!

    Good luck next year. :thumb

thanks guys! I really appreciate the interest and support. I wasnt really planning on doing very many more because its kinda the same stuff over and over. I figure one season is enough.

Ill probably chime in now and then with updates. For now im waiting for my foot to heal enough to race again. Im shooting for Checkers in late Feb, then the next one in March.

Im really pissed about missing the marathon - but ill be training up real soon!!

remember in Checkers last year after all the single track there was that dry lakebed?

I was stuck behind a bunch of kids because I suck but when I got to that lakebed, I took off and passed a big group - so I had the Dust To Glory-wide-open-at-100-mph-passing-everyone-Johnny-campbell-through-the-dry-lakebed-kicking-ass-taking-names-on-the-650R feeling

    it was brief.

    but incredible!

Awesome video summary of the Catalina. I dunno how you find the time to edit all that video, and more importantly how to talk to the camera like that. You only said "Aahh, I dunno what to say next" once the whole season! :lol3

Ive thought about doing similar vid's but I dont think I have the same self confidence and good looks. :rofl

No no no no, this is a total cop out. Why the heck cant we follow all your races this year? :deal

    ANYWAY....

It's very likely that I will be going to the Riff Raff rally school in Nevada/Dumont dunes area in mid April (www.rallymanagementservices.com). Its three days of camping and riding all day, navigation training for rally events; your very own mini-rally if you like. I think its high time you gave it a bash too. Are we going to see you there? PM me if youre keen. The same goes you too airbornedad and motomike. Would be great to have a beer with you guys regarldess.
