I saw a lot of rocks this weekend. Butt is still sore from where one tried to get intimate with me.

Picked up a Vee Rubber Tackee. Interesting tire. Offroad intermediate tread pattern made with trials compound. Pretty anxious to see how it works. Now just have to get inspired to put it on. Anyone here ever tried one?

I've not tried one but I just put a Michelin X light on the GasGas. :D

Goldentyre makes one that looks like a trials with every other set of lugs missing.

Crap I just need to get time to order the correct stator for my 300. I ordered an eom one but turns out it had been converted to 2003 stator/flywheel. Doh!

Way to go. Better get on it. I am also on lookout for inexpensive suspension upgrades for my wife's klx140. Kx80/85/100 stuff works best. Kx 100 wheels would be good too. I know you are good at spotting stuff.

Did I pass one of our WV riders up on Rich Mountain outside of Elkins today? Red jacket, black? KLR or older F650, silver happy trails boxes. I was headed down on my blue 640 adv wearing a yellow jacket. Turned around to catch you at the top but you must not have stopped. Beautiful day for a ride.

Good deal. I was on my way to Walmart the long way round. A buddy had told me about a bunch of trails on top of Rich Mountain so I went exploring a bit. Got just a taste but it appears there are a ton of fun old roads up there. Looks like it gets mostly atv/sxs use.

Hey guys...sorry to ask a question that has probably been asked a thousand times in this and other threads, but I'm going to anyway for convenience....

What knobbies should I throw on my GG EC250 for typical WV trail riding? What do you all like the best?

    Cheers all and thanks! :ricky:beer

They draw on the folks that come to Canaan Valley from the DC area, where a house costs 20 times what it does here.
They jump on $10-20K an acre :huh We looked at 25 acres on the skinny south end of Rt 72, very small cottage and a shed.
$300K :eek1 I looked at the place and figured $50-70K on the high end. Damn sure not $300K.

Should have just asked what oil everyone uses :evil
I run Kenda Big Blocks on my LC4, and usually Bridgestone off road tires on the EXC.
The EXC tires are not DOT, and not great on the pavement. But I don't ride much pavement on it anyway.

Some are using a trials tire on the rear, which does good until you hit deep mud.
I have a few tires in the garage here that you can have if you get in this area. They were free to me, and I don't know that I'll use them.

I think some of it due to Corridor H coming through the area. The land prices around Moorefield went up as soon as they released the final route plan.

Land prices around Petersburg and Franklin have gone up too, but not as much as the land near Corridor H.

I'm so glad they left old Rt 55 intact between Wardensville and Moorefield.

The Road To Nowhere is not really any faster.

You may be ok in southern WV, I live about 45 minutes from Canaan Valley.
Most land prices here are out of touch with the rest of the state.
