Looks like a different bridge or maybe the other side of the same bridge.

What is the location of this bridge?

Looks like the old RT 66 bridge over the Big Piney River at Devils Elbow, MO. (Near Fort Lenard Wood)

Correct. Just past this. Hence the clue that alot of you I thought alot of you would pick up on.

I rode to St. Clair for a vet's funeral, escorted him to the national cemetary at Waynesville, went to lunch, got a new tag, went across some paved and gravel roads to Desoto, got the old tag, and went home. It was a good days ride.

Sorry for not posting the location. Grabbed the tag with my phone, posted it and spent the rest of the day riding. I did take my pic from the other side. Here is a pic from the same side as the original, my bike is the spec at the far end

Here is the new tag. This old one room school house was used to "Kage" little tigers until 1966.

I think I know where it is anyway. I was going to ride "there" (if I'm right) when it stops raining. Hopefully tomorrow..?

Yes, but Linda and I thought that was the road that also goes to the lake but CC dead ends at the tower. AA is the one that goes to the lake and comes out at Lesterville, but is CR 204 then U by the time it get's to Lesterville. Use to could get to the upper lake but not now that they rebuilt it. (well I think I could still get there on my XR or WR but...) Shame, it was a nice view from there and kind of odd to see a big lake on top of a mountain. You need to run AA to 204 to U great views. Made it to our friends place at Lesterville for a nice visit, great day.

Lack of interest or need more hints? The first word in the name of this city is pronounced like that of the gateway city, but the French spelled it differently.

New tag. This Civil War Fort was destroyed by its occupants rather than let it fall into the enemies hands.
