Don't be too impressed with that list boys and girls....it's taken me a couple months and most of it was helping the bike recover from being 'ridden hard and put up wet' too often. [IMG]

MrsPhideaux: "What did you do to the KLR honey?"

Me: "Oh, I just repaired a few years of neglect".[IMG]

Yes, I have a KLX250 and love it.
I think several others on here have one. Maybe trblmkr and GaM.
Until I can use all the throttle all the time or have the urge to take lots of 100+ mile slab rides, I'll be sticking to a 250.
I ride two up with my wife all the time. We just went up to Bell Mt. and it pulls us just fine. We've climbed up Chestnut Knob too. Our combined weight is 300 lbs. The TW200 does fine too, it's just a bit slower!
I'm a little bike fan. I do know of a big BMW a few miles East of here that I'd really like to have. Or maybe one of those new Triumph 800's. Awww crap. Now ya'll done got me in the mood to ride. Where's that TAG at?

I really miss this classic bare bones look over the bars.......

Perhaps wanting something a little more refined though, a tach would be nice........

I'm wearin an N84 NCom these days. I like that damn helmet.

Any helmet's noisy on a damn nine-fitty but I ain't puttin one-A them ugly-ass windshields on my bike to try to quiet it down.

I just crank up da music.

Personally, I have enjoyed the mini windshield on my 990. It evens out the look of the bike. :lol3 SR[IMG]

    SR,
If'n u was 6'-1", u wouldn't like all the turbulence hitting you in
    the Face :hide

& it's worse if you ride up on the front of the bike.

Sorry, I was thinking out loud :baldy

Hey BD! Sure am glad I am not 6' 11". That would be tough for a woman. I am just grateful my inseam is tall enough to be able to touch the ground on these modern bikes. Although I am known to drop a bike at zero mph. :lol3 SR

If any of you boys are looking for a nw ga destination today on the bike or just a place to take the family, let me suggest the Shirly Miller Wildflower Trail in the pocket area of Pigeon Mountain, it doesn't get any better than it is right now. Stop in at the Pigeon Mountain Country Store for a grass fed longhorn beef hamburger cooked out back on their Big Green Egg.
    http://www.pigeonmtcountrystore.webs.com/

BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE STUPID WMA RECREATIONAL PASSES. 3 bucks for a day or 19 bucks for a year, or a WMS hunting or fishing permit. Kids free. You can get it online.

Just a few pics, that do not do the place justice, nothing like it that I know of.

It has boardwalk for about half the trail, then just trail, you need real walking shoes for the last part that ends at this waterfall, you climb right up to it.

Then take the Pocket Trail, the trailhead is at the parking lot, at the top of the hill you will come to a pond on the left and spring on the right
    [IMG]

Get off the trail and take the dirt road to the right, there is an old house foundation, old barn and great views from the fields.

I'm going to see if I can get a motorsickel stuck in the mud today.
