The fairing will be made once the tower is in place but it will be very close to the 690 rallye part!

Hi to all: My name is Juan Carlos, from Spain. In 60 days I will be racing the IRC2013. http://www.intercontinentalrally.com/ I want to share with you my little esperience.... My bike is in rally progress now. I show it to you: This a cheap way to race. Well, I add more pictures soon. Gaasssss.
So I'm finally getting around to making a proper fairing for my nav tower, at this stage it's just a plug made of MDF. It will be vacuum bagged carbon/kevlar eventually.
Darth Vader has arrived you might consider giving that top edge a small amount of curl so that if you do an ender over the bars it has less knifing potential.
I did finally get around to watching star wars episode 3 a few weeks ago, maybe it rubbed off on me. Thanks for the tip, I think I'll add a bit of a lip the whole way round.
Used some HDPE cutting boards to mock up my brackets. Glad I did. I have interference on both sides, brake line on right side and a mounting bolt on the left side.
On the rally bikes we build, we re-route the brake lines so that all the moving portion is between the caliper and the lower triple clamp. Everything above the lower triple is fixed to the triple and bars to avoid interference. We attach the line to the triple using rubber-lined loop clamps. Here's Kevin doing that on his 2013 Dakar bike (pic courtesy RMK). Dave
on the KTM's there are 2 - 6mm holes that position it perfect. This is a pic from my installation instructions.
