exactly what i found, the further from DCrider... the cheaper. :lol3

I just pulled those outta a hat. there are many, closer, not so many acres and a lil more expensive. some are stupid cheap... must be all on a 60degree angle and have all the gas and timber rights already gone, or surrounded by chicken houses.

That's why it took us 4 months and 3000 miles to find a new place ...
I'm some what happy with our new place ..
After living in BlueGrass for 20+ yrs..
We had standards to follow..In what we wanted..We came close very close...
It was the only place I steped out of the truck (Our bikes couldn't get up the driveway then) and said I can live here...:clap

That cabin would be more than enough space to visit but I am not sure if we could actually live there. To justify the price we would have to look at it as our retirement place.

Did you make it to AK this summer or is that next summer?

I end up dreaming and surfing landwatch quite a bit. I like my little spot but wish I would have bought a house/cabin already built. BUilding a cabin from 5 hours away might be difficult and one of those prefabbed jobs would probably be too difficult for them to get up my hill.

This looks like a nice little place close to Franklin. I can see myself drinking a few beers on that porch.

Landwatch appears to be a little slow with updating the listings.
I saw the same place on Realtor.com for $82,999 two weeks ago.

    I liked this one better.

They are both in a subdivision that has a cable across the entrance. This can be a royal PITA. DAMHIK.

Buck Ridges is off of Dickinson Mountain Rd just south of Franklin.
I rode by there Sunday. :evil
