I had a few structurally correct,, four layers of carbon/epoxy

they had some cosmetic flaws on the face
I finished them with finish polyester

    Glorious Gloss Black

I put them up in the Flea Market section

Got a chance to use mine yesterday, excellent at highway speeds and better visibility off road. :clap:clap:clap
Looks good on the bike as well, I never liked the look of cut down standard shields.

After fearing decapitation all day yesterday on the whoops out to the Husky Monument, I got jealous of Catalina's and ordered the Moose Shorty for $55 from Rocky Mountain.

Here is an action packed parking lot shot :lol3 Note the lack of scratches, it looked a little more used by the end of the day.

after months of failures and successes , research and fabricating , consulting with experts, stacks of expensive wasted experimental parts, I finally perfected the mold process and finally have a perfect part for my bike , not patched and topcoated like previously, I finally have the real deal , Infusion molded with UV protective resin
decided to sell some of these to recoup my investment of making the perfect windscreen for my bike

hopefully i wont get banned for spamming but I wanted to report that I finally finished successfully what I began here and wont continue to post about it because it violates the forum rules, once I sell some I become a "vendor" and not just a hobbiest showing off my craft

I started a thread over at "Vendors" and hope to sell a few to recoup some of my materials and R&D costs since I have an infusion mold now, may as well put it to good use
    http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=844817

this was so difficult and frustrating , Im glad its finally done
got the ispiration on this thread to learn how to do vacuum infusiom
hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars later , I have a rubber top infusion mold and a perfect part on my bike
    (sigh)

Do you have any pics from the cockpit side! Is there enough place for a navi on the cockpit-top?
    Will you ship to Europe?

here is a quick unflattering photograph I just took of the cockpit side
it is a sport style fairing not rally style which is why the windflow is so drastically improved
it is safer riding off road also without that guillotine in your face
not much instrument room only 4" from top of dash , 45 degree angle speeds up the air instead of creating drag

I dont mind shipping to Europe , I have had no problems so far
just did Finland and Australia recently

did you guys go in to the Husky the back way up the sand wash that comes in from the south ?

I love railing that sandwash at high speed , its freaking awesome on a 950 , I like when it narrows down into the trail ,
not many people know about how to find that way in
