The Restrite campground hosted alot of the Factory race teams during the golden years of Blackwater 100. I'm not suggesting the Restrite, just mumbling out loud. Davis would be a great location though.

I love the Watkins Glen area. Lots of touristy things to do but IMHO the riding in the area is more cruiser oriented. Mostly scenic rides around the Finger Lakes. Gentle sweepers is all you get. No technical roads that I have been able to find without riding 60+ miles to the south towards Galeton of all places. Plus with no camping on site, it will segregate the campers from the motelers, not ideal for our group.

I know it is tough to find both bed and tent space at the same venue, which is why we keep coming back to Marlinton and Galeton.

As always, I will do my best to attend where ever it is held.

Canaan Valley is a great place to hold an event. They love motorcyclists there and I have attended a couple of events. Restaurant and bar on site, but no camping near the lodging which would splinter the group. If everyone wanted to stay in rooms, I am sure Canaan Valley would be very accomadating. No shortage of great roads in the area.
