    I don't know if it's ghey, but...

The CBR is Captain America! (really captain Thailand, but don't tell my 13YO). The F has a written/proper name - kleine pfauin - and an objective/locative name - the yellow bike - but no vocative name. In fact, I think it is the only motorized thing I own without a specific vocative name. Hmmm. Weird.

I am what people call me........ and that varies a bit from place to place.

I am variously known as Michael (by my family), Mick, Mike, Sonny, Jim, and there have been a few others over the years. To those has been added the title, -sensei (teacher, in Japan; thus Mick-sensei) and Ajarn (also teacher, here in Thailand).

At present, here in Phuket I am Ajarn Michael, Mick or Mike, depending on who is addressing me.

I'm not fussy. People can call me anything, as long as it is not late for dinner.

    Uh, let's see.

Son's Ducati ss is "the Ducati"

My DP Suzuki is "the Suzuki"

My '92 BMW K100RS is "the BMW"

It says it right there on their gas tanks. Keeps the confusion to a minimum :lol3
