Can anyone tell me what Dog Valley and the wooded single track looks like right now? I want to maybe ride that this Sunday.

Don't know the wooded single track of which you speak, but Dog Valley is completely clear of snow and any single track in that area would be the same.

It just occurred to me that I didn't crash once today. Hit all the good stuff, great day. Thanks Grundy.

'Twas another great day, and learning about the private property boundaries was beneficial. We now know how to get from King's Row to the top of Peavine, but we need to find a way to connect King's Row to Mogul.

I got home and found severe rub marks on my tire where the chain was slapping it. I need to have that wheel true'd, tighten the chain, and get some new knobbies. I'm taking a rider's course so I'm out next weekend but 04/13 I'll be back and ready to ride with whomever.

Monday was a great day on the mountain. Saw some deer and some gnarly ATV tracks to the top.

Death Valley ride April 11-13. Leave Friday after work, night ride to Fish Lake Valley. Saturday night camping at Saline Valley Hot Springs. Sunday ride home. No plan, no real route. Two 650's and a 950 in so far. If work schedules allow, camp Sunday night also, then finish up on Monday.
Planning on dirt the whole way.

Fuel stops somewhere or support vehicle? I may try to contact you this weekend to get more details.

No plan no route, that's my kind of ride. Add another 950 to the group. Hopefully Sharpie will be chiming in here soon and add another 950.
We had a good ride out to Soldier Meadows two weeks ago.

No support vehicle. Gas in Smith Valley then Dyer on the way down. Considering going all the way to Beatty, then into DV through Titus Canyon. Going to need at least 200 miles worth of fuel with you. Looks like Monday April 14 will be the return day. Maybe come home from the east. Austin, NV ish?
