Yesterday I had emergency situation, so I had break story.

From Radocyna we start riding back to Krakow.
    We stop by old centenary:

Next stop was next to church in Krzywa:

No so far from Krzywa there is place where during 2nd WW Halifax (plane) crashed - there is monument to remaind that fact

We stop next to beautiful church - we were able just to lok inside by the key hole:

On Magura Malastowska there is other cementary from 1st WW - realy worth to see.

On the way back we visited one more orthodox church - this one was open.

With have nice stops to make photos:

We cross Dunajec river by ferry - last photo during waiting time.

    That was nice, long weekend.

As usual map in the end:

    Sorry again for long break.
Today we will ride not only in PL (also visti SK) - we are going to ride round the Tatra Mountains.

    First map:

I want to ride with my college - to test if we can or not ride together (I used to ride quite slowly) - he also - so prediction was good.
We set metting point in Stary Sacz - by the way I riding throught misty and sunny places like that:

    In Stary Sacz:

We cross the border in Piwniczna and see spots like this:

Slovak city (I don't remember the name):

    Tatra Mountains in its beauty

Two TA close to Liptovski Mikulas:

From that place we ride to Chyzne (border) and divide - I ride to Krakow, second TA ride to Wroclaw (more than 300 km).

That was good day - test was past by us both, and we decided that we can ride for longer trip (which will take place this year).

I have only one more story from 2013 - but also nice so stay tuned on.

This time we will ride in the west direction - Kotlina Kłodzka.

Friday about midday I started from Bielsko.
After 30 km first petrol station, one call, and welcome adventure :D

After ~150 km I spoted Sudety Mountains:

First place on my list to see was Otmuchow - city which is famous from Day's of Flowers (usually in Julie), but we have October so I ride to see Otmuchowskie Lake:

and city itself (here market sq.)

Meeting point was Zajacowka - place which is very motobiker friendly (owner has a bike also) and they are making navigation rallies.
Evening was as usual...nothing happens :evil but only long motobikers stories.

Next morning welcome us with amazing weather - in gruop of 5 bikes we make an onroad trip (most people made off).

We visit Museum of paper making:

    Then through the mountains:

we ride to almost empty village with nice church:

We also find nice lake - greatr place for break:

Later we had views like this:

    or like that:

By the way we saw church tower - than all church (it's 300 years old):

Than we raide back to Zajacowka - and again we had long talks :freaky

In Sunday morning I had to leave very early (my grandma had 77 birthday):

I was riding home and in one moment I spotted polish flag on the road side... ok lets check:

It the place where Marian Bublewicz (polish famous rally driver crashed his car):

I return home - and it was the end of season 2013.
    Thank You for Your attention.

Of course in 2014 I will continue stories - but first I have to make my bike in one piece.

I haven't write here for a long time - there are a few reasons - main is that I changed the job and I'm almost not riding - second is permanent lack of time to describe places where I was (even in polish on my blog).

So let's start from may - during one weekend there was two important events.
TCP spring yearly meeting - this year was on Kaszuby (central-north Poland), and I started to be 30 (:freaky).
First part (this post) will be about way to TCP to Lipa peninsula.

Monday morning (meeting starts in Thursday) I planned to go to Kolobrzeg (seaside) and take a ferry to Bornholm and back - than to go to Lipa, but it was only the plan.

Monday noon - everything is ready - so start. I took rd 81 in direction of Gliwice. Sun was shining, perfect condition to ride - speed about 80-90 kmh, and suddenly IT happened. My tube exploded - I had lot, lot of luck - it was straight, two lane, empty road - somehow (maybe my angle was with me) I stopped without slide, crash - really lot of luck.

There was bus stop - I sat on a bench and felt like a jellybean...after long while I called assistance service (I have it in my motobike insurance pack).

My TA on was loaded service truck - and we head back home (40 km).

Next day I decided not to ride - I helped my parents with garden works.

Wednesday - let's star for the second time :D My friend said that he will join me, but he didn't (no problem for me - I prefer to ride alone). During first day I made 450-500 km - and slept in neraby of Wloclawek.

Next day I woke up early in the morning I ride north. After few km I visit the first open car service - I needed key 30, big flat screwdriver and hummer - head frame bearing had to be tide a bit :evil
After 5 minutes job was done and I had nice talk with service guys.
Finaly I got to Tuchola - one of the most important cities in region. In Tuchola there is tourist information and museum of the Tucholski National Park.
I get some information, and nice lady in IT where is nice place to eat breakfast over the lake.

    So I ride there:

No people, sun, sand - place to eat with table - could I asked for more, I don't think so.

I studied map I get an idea how to get to Lipa Peninsula - in straight line 45 min ride - on my way it took me 6 hours :D

First I wanted to feel like an archologist - in Raciaz there is also peninsula on the lake where old settlement place was.
I left bike on empty parking in the middle of the nowhere and walked 400-500 meters, to cross the bridge to the place:

Only small walk up the hill and You can see:

Next to each building (or just basement) there is table with description what it was.

To get there (and back) You need to ride on sandy road, like this:

After that I ride through the forest (legally) to the Great Canal of Brda.

Than again through the pine forest (I love smell of pine forest) I reach Fojutowo - place where is the biggest aqueduct in Poland.

All complex is renewed and well maintenance.
There is also view tower with breathtaking panoramas:

After the Great Canal of Brda, there was time for Small Canal of Brda:

There are a few smaller aqueducts, but canal itself is nice:

I stoped on the bridge, make some photos, had a nice chat with fisherman:

    and by the gravel highway:

I ride to the other lake, where was time to dinner and some photos :D

    By the beautiful Kaszubian forest:

I ride to the Lipa Peninsula to camping where the TCP meeting took place.

During writing this post I realized that it my last photo before 30........

    It will be continued.

Next day - Friday, I started to be 30's...and I was able to ride :evil - last night party was so good (my friends told me - I have a black-hole in memory).
So that day I spent with small amount of beer over the lake and I did nothing...
Saturady was the day of navigation rally - I love it, so I did, everything to be able to ride.

We were competing in team of two bikes - I started with my friend KJU and Renia(KJU's passenger) - photo from start line - other teams are preparing:

First checkpoint, and task to do is on abandoned airfield - we have to take ith cup of water from one table to the right hand, ride ca.100-150 m, put it on the other table, and don't split the water. (sorry no phots).

Kaszuby it is region full of canals, lake, smaller and bigerr rivers - just lot of water and sand :)

We travel from village to village by gravel some time deep sandy roads:

Odry is our netx stop - it is place in some case similar to Stonhage - filed full of magic stone circles, with positive vibration, and positive energy:

Full of energy we ride through forestes, to the next tasks.
By the way we saw nice church:

In village called Wiele (in polish it mean "a lot of") - nice name, we had to find specific boat.
What is the problem - there is lake there, so boat should be there - big mistake. Boat which we were looking for was made form concrete a stay on the top of the small hill (me in boat):

On our way we had to visit trains museum (no photos) - and after that the rain started.... so we were waiting in the bus stop:

One of the last place to visit was museum of polish anthem - with symbol of Polnad - big eagle which wings are made from scythe:

In the evening we were surprised - we had 3th place in competition.
In Sunday morning I start riding back at 5 am - and ride to the Krakow. Nice trip was finished.
And in the end map - for those, who want to know where it was:

One day my friend(than one with who I started in rally during TCP) and tell about Jura Rally (navigation rally). Next we were on starting list :D

It was Saturday - who want to wake up before 6 am (I wanted :evil) - I ride near 100 km to start line, but roads were empty, so it was pleasure.

On the start various bikes but only 2 TA (most off road on starting list). One of the most important thing in competition was ride as less km as is possible (no problem - on TA you can ride, where other can only dream about).

    Starting line:

    and "self photo" before start:

Jura is very nice region of Poland - name comes from Jurassic era - You can see a lot of stones, ect:

It is also know because of "Eagle Nests track" it is line made by middle -age castles. You will see it later.

On start line we get roadbook with direction only for 10 km....but we ride to the other rally office:

Next to office we had leave our bikes and walk to Zborów Mount:

Mount and nearby is protected area, there is also cave which we visited.
Before You go to the cave safety features have wore:

With guide we went to cave (name of cave is głęboka - it's mean deep).

Inside we got a lesson about form stones in cave (nothing new for me - I was in speleology club for a few years), but I didn't know about poisoned spiders in cave - we seen it.

After visit in cave we have quiz (get max. points). We get map with obligatory points and tasks to do. In nearby restaurant we had cafe, make plan and ride across beautiful Polnad:

By nice gravel roads (not available for on-road plastic bikes and choppers)
    we ride to Podzamcze (Ogrodzieniec)

We had to find "horse" - so we did it.

and make all team photo with "horse"

In next task we had to find ostrich farm, so they are:

Owner tell us lot about that big birds and we can feet them:

After visit in farm we talk with couple on Triumph Tiger that they will go with us...but they did it only to the first gravel...sorry but TA is TA :evil

We had to find 2 churches - first one:

By the way we stop for "Browarek" (in polish word browarek meas small beer):

and I really wanted to have photo with that sing:

It's connected with my nick name, but difficult to explain - sorry You have to learn polish language.

In Bobolice there is castle (I described it in that thread) - we need to read something form information board.

After next few kilometers there is other castle in Mirów:

Next to Żarki there are ruins of the church:

next to church there are 3 solar clocks (they show time in different time zones).

Last task was to find cave (hole) in mount called "ass" - so I can say that we really were in hole in the ass :rofl and it is it:

After that we ride to the finish line, of course in adv way (tarmac is boring):

In moment we get finishline rain started (and finish 5 minutes later).
On our way back to Krakow we had rainbow on our left side:

KJU I started with made a movie - so You can see it:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0QwrJ2QX9c

Also You can take a look for more photos here:
