262 miles one way, not tonight! Touron season is getting cranked up out there. Between the enviro Nazis and the tourist there isn't much appeal left for me between Hatteras and Corolla.

Other than a handful of locals and several hundred bikers, the OBX was dead this week. Half the businesses are closed.

To bad you couldn't make it, but it sounds like your priorities are right..
We rode out to the Stuart, Ferrum, Floyd area.

We need to keep that NC Tag in the East, it's just too dangerous for inmates to chase around all those twisty roads. :D:D

Damn wolf, I've never even seen a tire that bad in a junk yard.
Good thing you only ride back & forth to your trailer..:):)

Looks like my 954 tire after I missed a ride to Charleston so rode down on a bad tire.... It was bad enough a random spectator offered to find a truck to come take me to a shop...

I didn't realize it was this bad, the last time we rode it was for ice cream.
It won't move again without a new tire.

Did even better than that on my GSA running home from Utah running across I90 at 90 to 100. Passed a bunch of folks on the way. I stopped for gas and saw the tire. :eek1 Still had to find a place for the night so back on the highway. As some folks recognized me they pulled alongside with a quizzical look. I cranked the throttle producing a shower of sparks and they understood. :lol3

The last tire I replaced on my RT was down to cords both sides of center but still had some rubber in the middle. :freaky
