    after taking a look what my exhaust headers look like after this ride i decided that next item will be bash plate. took a sheet of 1,5mm alu plate and cut it to the right size. i had a yamaha original plate for comparison. pictures later, i havent mounted it yet. total cost of new bash plate - less than 10$

    This bridge didnt hold me and my XT.... funny, not even a scratch on me or my bike (btw, here you can see the selfmade bash plate).

    Got my new XT660 last week,and finding it quite an improvement over the KLR...more refined and smoother,still got lots to do though!So far,Hyde bash plate,Zeta hand-gaurds,Pro-Taper fat bars,risers,Givi panniers and knobblies

    Just a few pictures of my three month old XTR taken on the Army Training area of Salisbury Plain,Wiltshire in the U.K.
    No live firing last weekend so all the byways were open and most if the pictures were taken on the Larkhill and Bulford Ranges.

    Great bike,handles road/trail very well,125 miles to a tank full and 6,000 miles to a service.
    I did a 210 mile round trip (90 off road) and was back home by 1.00 pm.
    A great morning ride.

    Mines now got 1900kms logged up and must admit,really great bike esp offroad-very under-rated.Have farkled a bit,Pro-Taper bars,Risers,Givi panniers,Hyde bash plate and headlight protector,Michelin knobblies and hoping to get Penta slip-on cans today...forgot Hyde fork protectors and Zeta bark busters .Here she is on a ride in the mountains
