I am in Moscow on another ride that I hope to write up later in the year ... and just had a beer or two with Tony (who is now living in Moscow) just 2 nights ago. He is currently looking to import his bike to Russia or to buy one here.

Out of an estimated 20,000 threads (40 per line x 500 pages) Yes i see that there are 733 pages, a bunch seem to have been moved.

There are currently only 11 Ride Report threads that can claim the additional fame of being members of the 1 million + views club.

Glen is way closer to his 3 millionth view than the 1 mark. :clap
Doug is here twice...looks like your dirtster is a bit more popular than the panhead.
Clayton appears to engage his readers so much in his stories that they are to mesmerized to reply.

Would be great if the mods could let us know how many subscribers each of them have.

    DVD ordered also.

Ive spent the last few days reading all of your threads, and i have to say they are my faves, along with Timgrola (sp.) and the american camera dude with the KTM

i love the well written, well photographed, and informative loaded posts. Top work.

Now im looking at getting an enduro bike to have fun on, as the fazer is getting miles piled on due to commuting everyday, and lets be honest, the fazer wouldnt make much of an adventure bike :puke1

Great trip report, cant wait to read the two latest ones!:clap

I'm sat in a hotel in Severobaykalsk and I find myself reading this blog for the 1000th time just hours before starting the ride but in the opposite direction. Big thanks Walter for taking the time to document all this and providing the inspiration for me to do this. If this goes horribly wrong, it will be you my Mum will be calling :-)

Hope the ride goes well for you.
Make sure you get lots of pictures for those of us that will never get to take a ride such as this.

    Hi, Pete and Jon.

Glad you Guys are in contact.
You will learn far more from Colebatch than me. I just followed on like a nodding dog in the back window.

Enjoy the W BAM. Give my regards to THAT bridge - but don't try to break any records across it. One day someone will certainly go over the edge and I don't want it to be the Guys I enjoyed beer, bars, etc with in Moscow !

    I am watching....

Guys we made it to Tynda! We're safe. Few scratches on the bikes but no injuries. That was one serious adventure. Maximum respect to you guys for going the full distance. It's seriously intense out there. We hit two rivers where we needed assistance. The first one from a local fisherman and his boat and the second a truck driver. We'll have the full ride report up as soon as possible.

    Tony,

We can't thank you enough for all your help and advice over the last month or so. It proved absolutely priceless for us out there. Huge huge respect to you guys for riding the full road.

No Vitim record breakers this time I'm afraid.

Full update to come really soon.

    Pete

If you're interested then I've be happy to volunteer to help turn it into a Kindle book, while Kindles themselves are injured in their abilities to handle photos the Kindle software available to download on Android phones and tablets and iThings can handle colour pictures and hyperlinks to external resources, maps, videos, etc..

Huge respect to the Sibersky Extreme boys for doing the full distance. You guys really must be as hard as nails. A big thanks again for providing us with the inspiration to ride this route. It was one hell of an adventure.
