I bought a shop manual CD from Sierra Bmw for the f800. It won't play on my computer. How come? Bear in mind, I grew up with rotary phones....
Are you sure it is a CD. First if it is supposed to "play" then most likely it is a DVD. Do you have a DVD drive on your computer? Next if it is a CD then unless it has an autorun file it is not going to start on its own. You are going to have to double click on your CD drive and then double click on the file you want to read. After you double click on the drive there may be folders you have to double click on to open to actually see the files.
the disk drive on my computer doesn't recognize it. When you go to my computer, and then click on the disk drive, it shows no files. Other cds/dvds or whatever the hell they are, work fine. According to the instructions in the package, it should go on it's own
you didn't put it in upside down did ya ? try another computer. You can make a copy of the .pdf file and put it on a flash drive and keep it with... John
