Hi Pablo, good to hear from you. I see you're doing the Peach Ride...wish I can so I can ride the GS (I already accepted, it's a street bike).:roflYou have more luck riding the 990 on dirt :D

Scorp.....I would guess all the trails are still open, except for Pacifico, because of the fallen tree, the gate at Mill Creek is locked, but you can get around it.

bruce warned us about the tree, which turned out to be a 100 year old tree...:D

i knew about it, but because of the darkness, hidden around the corner, i was going fast and could not see it was front of me. tried to avoid it but instead went over the handlebar.

this photo by miketoon was my 2nd of the 3 attempts...:lol3

it's not really difficult to get around, and miketoon proving it
    [IMG]

my first thought is rob is going to eat this tree knowing how he is..:D
and so we waited to warn them

we didn't want to stay till 4am, so we rode pacifico down to lynx and back to the trailhead where we started. lynx was tougher coming back, and the darkness, trail unfamiliarity from a different direction and the saharas made it tough for me. dropped the bike on the downslope and could not pick it up. i have to drag the bike so that the rear tire is now on the lower spot, and gathered all my energy before i can get it upright. it took me like 15 minutes in the dark, by myself in the middle of nowhere to get back on the saddle again. :cry

at the end of the ride...i'm just as happy as the rest of the FFs. believe me, this ride is not just for fun and good times, you get to learn how to survive in a strange condition! :1drink

Anyone else in on this ride, the same weekend as the NooB Valley Rallye. We will most likely hook up with these guys along the way, and probably on Saturday. This ride is a balls out, speed (alcohol) induced, 700+mile ride (600 dirt), that will spend two nights at Russel's Camp in Butte Valley. This is a great ride for those doing the Baja Ride in December. We will begin our ride at the 15/138 intersection and only touch asphalt for gas.

If you want to do this ride, speak by Wednesday, or forever hold your peace. We have a great guy (Kenny, non MC rider) who will be driving up earlier in the week and reserving Russell Camp for us. We need to get your alcohol order in place so he can purchase it and haul it up for us in his Jeep.:clap

Right now the list is as follows:

    Trailtrick
    Dunerat
    DannyG
    Herrhelmet
    Me (Notmybikemodelname)

We can take three more if you want a good sleeping space. Any more and you're pitching a tent.
