I may be late for breakfast but I should be there in time to ride. If I have to ride hungry that will be my problem.

Show up for breakfast at Keys, then tag a long with some of the riding for a bit.

Fun ride today, after some of the sandier spots, loose gravel doesn't seem so bad:nod

I just don't think I'm going to make Stockholm at 11.00.

Trying to decide between a later Stockholm arrival, or just running up to the Delta Diner.

Meh, I'll decide in the morning.

That could be a hell of a weapon for the Elephant Ride.

Good to meet some new faces at Key's. Afraid I got separated from the bunch. I checked on the rider who joined on the back of our group and it turned out to be Nina looking for the BMW group. I directed her to Key's and told her she would still catch them. I must have overshot our group when I tried to catch up. Oh well. I traded messages with Mike from Grantsburg, then the BMW grouped rolled up so I joined them. They introduced me to some twisty roads I hadn't been on before and a good burger at a dive in Cushing.

Great day for a ride in the country and I made it home in time to get over to the Gasthaus for Oktoberfest!

We debated going to Gasthaus, but I suspected that the fuckery had begun, so we retreated to Black Forest instead. Which was nice. :freaky

Sorry you got separated but glad you got some good riding in. I'd be interested in the dual sport route you have down near your neck of the woods. You had mentioned it earlier this summer and IIRC it was about 150 miles round trip out of Red Wing. Hopefully you'll know what I'm talking about... :rofl

It was a great ride Saturday. Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate a birthday. Keys breakfast and then 160 miles of fun. Thanks Mike for leading.
