If my '06 Scrambler was decked out like that I wouldn't have traded to the f-650.

Isn't that the same day as the Richmond Beard championships?

Also, I have a book for you.

My plan is to hit the gym in the am. Bob's open house by noon. Next south, a short stop at Morton's then on to Richmond.

    Book?

Okay, I just typed a long story (below) if you don't feel like reading don't. Here's the gist of it...
Found problem. Had frustrations. Fixed it.

So I left work a couple hours early to take care of some things. I'm riding to Richmond today, after a stop at Bob's BMW Open House. A pre-ride bike check of the Dyna so it would be ready for the trip was in order, tires, lights, horn, fluids, no lose bolts (yes that happens). While wiping the bike down I hear a weird sound, like frying bacon... Ear to frame. WTHey-now? The relay for the air horns is sizzling and hot to the touch. [IMG]Fuse pulled, sound gone. I pull and mark each wire, remove part and run up to Salvo. Location 1, does not have it in stock, they called another location. Location 2 claims to have it! I go. When I get there the counter guy pulls it from the box, the terminals are already burned :huh.

Okay I like companies that have liberal return policies but employee's please look at returned parts before boxing and putting back into stock, thank you.

A quick trip up the "horn aisle " I found the part I originally wanted, the part I had been told by location 1 didn't come separately :baldy . Ahh... Breath... Better, home, installed and all good.

See, I still wanna talk smack about a jap bike being more reliable but I'm afraid that my Connie would use that as an excuse to take a dump on this ride. :lol3

ps - if anybody wants to come with me & Mick down to Bob's we're leaving from 26th & Calvert at approx 11am. Look for a big blue Connie and a white GS. And epic facial hair.
