    Front fork is said bad and changed by WP of KTM 950SE (see *) ;
    Rear continental air damper is said bad and often changed by Ohlins ;
    Front light is bad and often changed by Touratech dual lights.

    Otherwise, the HP2E is all fun if fine tuned with Rapidbike etc

    Im changing out my front light with the one Holan made. Its the BMW g450x headlight with custom made bracket that will hold a gps or road book along with the carbon fiber ralley fairing that is taller than the origional g450x one but looks oem. Scorred the new light, cf fairing, and bracket for 115 pounds plus 15 pounds shipping or $203.00 us total. "what a deal":lol3

    GSMarc, I was tinkering around with the idea of making a carbon fiber fuel cell copy of the f800gs twin tail tanks, but formed to fit either side of the frame spars and hp2 seat. Way more fuel capacity and less weight up front unlike the HPN tank. What do you think?:gdog

    Can you post a pic of what you imagine ? Example a F800gs with some text on it to explain ?

    From my point of view, Markus tank is the best by its positionning and by the fact it's already existing
    and tested.

    I've one on my MM

    I don't know how much light gives the G450X system.
    I've added a Touratech HID.
    Works GREAT !!

    The only thing I don't like about the underseat tank is.............if your loaded down with full gear, all that stuff has to come off of the bike, then the seat, just to fill up the tank. Tank design for the f800gs fuel tank has an exterior fill cover........easy, quick. Plus the tanks would be higher than the bottom of the stock tank for ease of fuel transfer. Just a thought.:evil

    you are right, good idea.

    I have no idea on how the F800GS tank can fit on the HP2E frame.

    I'm curious to hear about your experience :ear

    Nothing. Same as before.

    Hes still stroking it, replacing headlights instead of getting the engine going. There's either one of two things going on: 1) the engine was more damaged than initially presumed from the heat of fire damage, or 2) the boy can't get the engine going and post a video of it.

    If it's the first, I'd rather he come clean and ask for another engine or parts to get it running.

    Either way, it all hat no cattle.
