OK, spring has me wanting to try out another color of panniers. So my rider demo set is for sale. They are in like new condition. More info on them can be found here.

They sell new for $545 plus shipping. Spring sale cost of $395 plus shipping. I'll make a package deal if your also interested in the mounts and mounting hardware. :deal

No outside the States sales. International postal shipping costs on a monstrous box are not feasible and two large boxes for them packaged individually is a bit pricey.

Email (as in no ADVR PM!) if you're interested.

    Thanks,
    Carl

"What's it worth? I have NO idea, but I'm thinking it might be somewhere in the neighborhood of $4000."

What do these brackets looks like? I'm trying to mount an aftermarket tach in the stock location and can't find any pics or diagrams showing how the stock pods fit. It appears that they have that single bolt through the turn signal bracket, but that doesn't seem like it would be sturdy enough.

    Have any pics?

The brackets are the stock ones for the pods. The go under the fork top nut and also engage one of the other nuts on the top triple( for rotation control).

There are pics on my big page of crap for sale. Link in my sig.

I am looking for a non OEM sidestand and a low front fender for the R80G/S. Flying teapot or ???

Open to suggestions on where to find both items new or used.

I already know where to buy the Flying Teapot one obviously but maybe there are other makers out there? Too bad Browns does not make a side stand for the R80G/S. Sure works great on my RS.

    Thx!

1975 R90/6 for sale in WI
    <hr style="color:#575757; background-color:#575757" size="1"> up for sale is a 1975 R90/6 that I took in on a partial trade for my GS.

This is a great bike in great shape with some nice upgrades done. Bike odo shows around 26,000 miles and judging by the condition of the bike I believe it.

    Lets start with the good:

    Luftmeister 2-1 exhaust
full Mikuni conversion, very well executed and tuned.
    new euro bars
solo style seat in fantastic shape
Krauser bags are in as good as new shape.
Brand new pushrod tube seals and base gaskets.
Is fitted with a smaller battery tray, but have a excellent condition stock.
    Brand new steering stabilizer
    Have Stock Bing carbs.
Have stock seat. Pan is rough but grab handle is there.
One piece crashbars available as well.

    The bad.

It could use a neutral switch. Weeps a bit.
Couple of blemishes in tank. Looks like paint chips that somebody tried to touch up poorly.

I assume that the bike has been repainted, but it appears to be a well done and a correct red for the year.

I will update as I remember more. More pictures can be sent on request.

Pics: ( the oil pan is only there because I had just changed the push rod seals.)

R80G/S or early R100GS front half of the headlamp shell/instrument pod.

I'm mounting a BMW deflector and either want to buy one already drilled, or one that isn't drilled and I'll drill mine.

Rough condition is just fine for me!
