Gonna ride the Cohutta's this Sunday if anybody's interested. I'll be too up on the Tenere so I will be slow.

Twisty put me in as tentative for Sunday. Let me know the plan.

Does anyone have a cam chain breaker for a KTM? I wanna rebuild the top of this puppy and don't wanna shell out 150 for a stupid tool i will use once in a blue moon.

9 o'clock at the Hardees in Chatsworth if anybody wants to ride the Cohutta's Sunday.

I'll try to be there at 9. Its a good solid hour coming from the East Brainerd area of Chattavegas. Trying to recruit a couple other inmates for the ride that would likely join up at sometime in the afternoon. One of them being Doulos.
Glad to hear you are riding two-up, as I have no knobs left on my rear tire and its doubtful I'll put the new 606's on before Sunday. The slower pace is a good thing...
Did you have any ride plans or destinations you were targeting in the Cohutta Wilderness? I know they close a section East of Potato Patch Mtn on the forest service road in winter. Not sure if its open or not given the weather has been so warm this year.

Those roads close January 3rd.

Planning on a repeat of last Friday and meeting at the Brewhaus sometime around sixish.

As GaM said, the gates don't close until Jan3. No planned route. I say we do a "dual sport lunch" (aka pack a sammich) and just meander around until we decide to go home.

Head to Frankin state forest off of hwy 156.
We may hit the railroad bed across from sewannee campus

We had a great ride in the Cohuttas today, even if it was a little foggy at times. Thanks to everyone for coming. We had a blast.


I think my nooby neighbor is hooked. He did great for his first time. I was kinda worried he'd bust his ass early and wouldn't want to come back, but by the end of the day I could hardly keep up with him.

What happened to ya Dirt Dragon? I became a little worried when you didn't show up after you said you were coming.

Thanks Twisty for setting it up. It is rare when I am riding the smallest bike in the bunch! But you couldn't slow down those big bikes today!

I will holler at you when I get a smaller bike and you can teach me some skillz!
