This better be good you two because what ya missed Saturday with me and some of the local boys was buku fun. Of course it would have only been better with you two along for the ride. Sunday was nothing but a good day for frogs though so *the call* was a good one. Ok buddy lets see what yall did instead.
Well it took you some time..... Nice building..where are those stones coming from it ain't from the neighborhood
great to see you back dave, as always this is shaping up to be another masterpiece of great writing and photography
I've been in an office building outside Sandy Hook, Connecticut in a restored old mill very similar to that and it's a similar age. In fact even the forest setting is similar. At some point several decades ago something special could have been done with such a heritage property.
iDave a photographic and personal perspective filled fest as always ....enjoying the read Seem to remember you were a Nikon man, crossed to the other side or just bought a wicked compact
good story so far, been to all those places you mention. Too bad the vandals got to it and burned it in 1998, I'd been passing that Mill for 30yrs and always wanted to stop and check it out, never did. Here is a link with a pic before the fire, tragic, wonder if they ever caught who did it. http://www.pwcgov.org/default.aspx?topic=030039002160001749
Well Hell, keep P&S'n (if that's not a rude acronym) and road trippin....don't beat yourself up about the test exposures....it's very enjoyable to us readers
It doesn't get much better than that! Love your photos and story telling. All the pics are excellent, but particularly like the one of the trees on the hill behind the white gate. More please! rw
