    Friday morning, Mexico 1 - 1 Southafrica.:cry

    OK, lets ride then.

We get ready to go this day to PUENTE DE DIOS and then CASCADA TAMUL.

here at the detour to Tamasopo town, waiting the others behind

as soon as we find a good place to park, under good shadow and stuff taken care by house owner, all is taking gear off and ready for a walk and a river dive and swim.

Today the God's Bridge (Puente de Dios) is in perfect weather conditions to enjoy it. The last time we were here, the current was too strong and the cave was flooded, no way to get in, not even on the edges of the river.

from where I'm standing taking this picture, right underneath is the cave or Puente de Dios, the water made a perforation on the rocks and passed thru under to continue the normal flow. On heavy rainy season, the water flows over where I'm standing..!!

the cave or bridge entrance is right on the back of these two riders (Sergio and Jorge), is real tiny to see it clear. the deep here is about 40 ft.

This is the other side of the Bridge, once is comming out from under the rocks. the deep here is about 20 feet.

on this pic you can see the river continues down there

next post will put some diving videos on this place.

    Oh. My. God.

Si te sientes oprimido y no puedes alabar a Dios

After a couple hours playing on the water, we decided to ride to Tamul Waterfall,

but before, we need to walk back to the bikes and the climb uphill is hard with the high humidity, but our faces still grining after all.

the road ends here, and need to leave the bikes and walk around 1 KM to the waterfall along the GALLINAS RIVER.
20 pesos the entrance, including taking care of the bikes and gear.

The Tamul Waterfall is the most important and impressive waterfall of San Luis Potosi state, with its 300ft height, formed by Gallinas River, falls over the Santa Maria River, and then forming the TAMPAON River. Is only at 30 miles from Cd. Valles.
On the Santamaria River you can practice Kayak, and rafting activities. On dry season can do rappel right along the waterfall wall.

Now, time for a refreshing water jump and dive.

note that we are right on the top of the waterfall, on the dry season,
this pond is just 30 feet away from the very edge of the fall.

The pond is about 15 feet deep, and has a very slow current.
