I rode with a helmet cam during the rally Albania a month ago, and now tried my first attept to editing a short film. You have to have sound. The picture is what it looks like, and the sound is how it feels racing. First try, so be nice :-)

ADVrider's bulletin board software doesn't appear to use those tags. When you click "share" from the YouTube menu, choose the "embed" option then just copy and paste the code in the window. You can modify window size and other parameters but straight copy and paste is the easiest.

Fast ride! Also a bit scary for my taste:D

Just to have an idea, was it useful the steering damper on that kind of terrain?

Thanks. The ride WAS awesome. I said in 2012 I would return, and I say it again now.

Scary yes. Albania is no place for people afraid of hights. And this year it wasn't so bad. 2012 I was scared shitless a few times. The steering damper you don't really need. The 70 degree Husaberg is a nervous bike, and I think this helps, but I have it turned down so I can't feel it at all, and some on the high speed to get rid of the triple clamp slamming into the stop screws, which happens sometimes when you miss to see a rock of something.

    Great video,

Packing a lot of speed in my opinion, but then again I am getting old(er).

How is the medical backup in the rally? Saw some scary moments.

    Ps great video

Sheeeeeeeeeet! - there was some traffic and 4 legged hazards not marked in the road book for sure!

Nice going Calle... and I love that rider's view of the MRS nav-bracket system, definitely going in that direction for my next rally-lite bike project!

Man some of those corners at speed on the cliffs edge made me nervous. You probably do not even notice how close you are when you are racing, but I bet you realized the edge when you watched the video for the first time.

    Great skills and video.:freaky

Speed is kind of relative. You can only go as fast as you can navigate, but, sure, sometimes you go fast. Age seems to work the opposite way for me, and I really hope that's med getting better, and not stupid.... :-)
Medical backup is good. they have a couple of ambulances, we all carry GPS trackers that people can see, and also they had a helicopter standing by somewhere.

At first you crap your pants and ride like a stiff all day with white knuckles on those roads, then you kind of get use to it. My wife yelled at me for riding on the ledge when I made the movie. As long as you're concentrated, it's not a big deal. The problems is the liasons, almost all roads are like this in Albania. Some stages in the movie is liasons, but I guess I still go fast. Part of this is because I want to get used to riding fast, so there's no difference when I arrive at at special. The other part is to stay focused.
I watched it like 20 times, and I want back right now! :-)
