BMW 650 dakar in the red/white/blue colors, rider was ATGATT in solid black. Seen around 4pm in Ellijay, July 12, at red light crossing hwy 515 in front of Hardy's restaurant. Rider had quite a bit of crap strapped to the back of the bike too.

:D This all started over a mystery rider on a blacked out KTM Adventure, all black gear, cool looking. I can't even remember the name of the road I was on, but when they passed by me I felt this little umm, "feeling" :rofl and I have always wondered who that was. I had half a mind to turn around and chase them. (I was riding with my family at the time, and a little bored maybe.) That's been forever ago now. I think maybe it was all just my imagination. I am going to be SO embarrassed if we figure out who that was. :lol3

Oh yeah :doh Duh!! That's you! Cool. I guess you run down 75, then take Chastain to cut across. You only posted a nice picture and explanation above, I guess I was too busy laughing at your wording. :lol3

You and I must run a tight ship in that respect because basically every time I'm coming off that exit, there you are. You're not noticing me because I'm rocking the Grand Cherokee...like every other soccer mom in the world. :rolleyes On my way to McCollum by 7.

I noticed a Harley that looked like he was trying to fall in with you recently, and it looked like you were rolling onto the throttle. :razor Made me die a little bit inside wishing I were riding too. :rofl

:poser It was kinda like a dream, the way he swooshed (technical term) by me on this really nice road... That's the thing about helmets, you never know who exactly is underneath. So, nice bike/ridden fast, and it's like "dream guy" for all I know. :rofl What would you guys DO with yourselves if this were a female dominated sport? Geez, I'm digging an even deeper hole.

Again, long time ago. Love you, Nick! :hide

ADV Rider n00bs need a starter kit and in there should be a blurb explaining the salute. To all of the KLR and GS owners in and around Roswell that I have saluted in the past few months, :fyyff for not getting it.

I saw an orange 950 today at about 4:30 on Arnold Mill at Barnes. I wanted to salute him; but, I waved first and he was totally tuning me out. :lol3 Doesn't he know who I am?

Whoever you are, nice orange polo. :razor

I used to see a guy on a older KLR commuting south on 400 every morning from Forsyth Co all the way to buckhead. He wore what looked like a blue BMW jacket with white stripes/reflective on it. Anybody here?
